Meet your instructor, Marie Longo:
Marie discovered yoga while recovering from a running injury and quickly fell in love with the connection between breath and
movement. Yoga and meditation soon became essential tools for
managing her high-stress work as a Life Flight Nurse Practitioner.
She holds an MSN from Kent State University and is dual-boarded in Acute Care and Family Medicine. Marie earned her 200-hour certification in 2019 and has completed additional training in chair yoga, Yin, Yoga Nidra, meditation, aerial, restorative practices, and more.
She is currently pursuing her advanced 300-hour
training at Wilmington Yoga Center. Originally from
Ohio, Marie moved to North Carolina for the warm
weather and looks forward to sharing her
passion for yoga with the community.
