5-Week Samba Foundations Course
Start or continue your samba journey with Império da Rainha🇧🇷✨
Always dreamed of dancing Brazilian samba but don’t know where to start — or want to keep building your foundations properly?
This 5-week course is designed for complete beginners and those continuing from previous courses, offering a welcoming, structured and culturally rich approach to learning samba.
At Império da Rainha School of Brazilian Samba, you won’t just learn steps — you will develop technique, musicality, posture and the true essence of samba as it is danced and lived in Brazil.
We focus on real foundations, because strong samba no pé takes time, consistency and the right guidance to develop.

This course is ideal if you want a proper foundation before progressing into open-level classes, performance work or Notting Hill Carnival.
At Império da Rainha, we teach authentic samba no pé with Rio Carnaval influence, with attention to detail, quality and long-term development.

Refund & Attendance Policy
Due to limited spaces, course bookings are non-refundable once the course has started.
Missed classes cannot be refunded or transferred.
Just to be transparent — we don’t receive external funding, so memberships/ courses help cover rehearsal spaces, equipment, party costs, and everything needed to build our Carnaval weekend properly. That’s also why we can’t offer flexibility, such as the option to replace missed classes.
