/// ABOUT THE ARTISTS ///
PATRICK QUARTERMAN
Patrick is a 'Third Culture Kid' who grew up in China to a German-Filipino household, and now calls Denmark home. His music journey took the shape of a 2000s kid who got into the acoustic guitar because of Jack Johnson, John Mayer and Jason Mraz. Patrick embraces his lyrically playful yet sensitive side as a songwriter. He loves to decorate his tunes with earworms, jazz harmonies and groovy rhythms.

KATIE SIMPSON:
Strangers are just friends you haven’t met yet. That’s the philosophy behind every Katie Simpson show, and the fire lighting up her third studio album, STRANGERS, BUT NOT REALLY. Simpson combines dynamic vocals and electric stage presence to connect to audiences around the world. People from everywhere enter shows as strangers and leave as friends.

CYNTHIA
CYNTHIA is a volcanic eruption wrapped in Scandinavian melancholy. With one foot in Gran Canaria’s burning lava and the other in Denmark’s dark soil, she embodies a musical tension where heat and cold meet; where emotions explode and whisper. On her debut EP, she takes you on a personal journey through her raw and honest lyrics – from the opening track Det Gode Eksempel, where she asks: How do you become a good role model when you come from a difficult background? – to Brandfarlig, where she stands strong in her own flames and refuses to let adversity burn her down. In Fløjtende Ligeglad she cuts the unhealthy ties and insists on her freedom, and in Go’ Nok she sings herself closer to believing in herself. It all culminates in Jeg Lever – a turning point. After years of merely surviving, she is finally beginning to live her life fully.
Cynthia’s concerts are intimate and eye-level: Danish lyrics delivered with southern warmth, moving between pop, hip-hop, and Spanish reggaetón. The audience is invited straight into CYNTHIA’s heart: a space for vulnerability, reflection, and sudden bursts of pure energy. WHAT IS MARMELADE CULTURE?
Marmelade Culture Is a music collective aiming to create artistic offline communities and forums. The group curates monthly events like concerts, open mics, jams and workshops with the goal of creating a space for electronic musicians in Denmark inspired by the songwriting- and jazz-scene. The group is also involved in radio and TV programs, as well as production tasks for various artists.
For our events, values like community, inclusion, safety, and curiosity are essential. We aim to create a space where people come first and where people feel free to explore art with sincerity. Our mission is to bring together, and strengthen the creative communities that already exist across different media, because we believe that new artistic forms emerge when these worlds meet.
