About this Event
Please join Amplified Voices for our annual, marquee, fundraising event! We will congratulate our 3rd Cohort of Justice Freeman Fellows and celebrate another year of successful programing designed to serve our mission of providing a pipeline to Chicago's legal profession. All proceeds and donations are tax deductable and will support Amplified Voices' upcomming program year.
The Justice Freeman Fellowship is a 6 week, paid, fellowship for high achieving high school students from Chicago. The fellowship pairs participants with host attorneys and/or judges for the summer and creates a space for them to begin envisioning themselves as the next generation of civic leaders in Chicago. Your donations and support allow our fellows to:
- Shadow an Illinois Supreme Court Justice for a day
- Meet with a Crain's Business List Awarded Corporate Attorney for lunch
- Spend summer days learning about a day in the life of a legal professional
- And so much more!
The event will be hosted at the David Rubenstein Forum, a towering beacon in the Hyde Park neighborhood. Come witness our fellows graduation the presentation of our annual luminary award.
