About this Event

🎄✨ A Burlesque-Mas Carol Returns! Toronto's Sexiest Holiday Tradition ✨🎄

THREE SHOWS ONLY! December 12-13, 2025

THIRD YEAR AT THE ICONIC PAINTED LADY!

Get ready to unwrap the holiday treat that's been making Toronto blush for three years running! "A Burlesque-Mas Carol" is back with more glitter, more sass, and more spirits than ever before (and we're not just talking about the cocktails).

About the Show:

Bah-hum-BABE! This isn't your grandma's Dickens! Join us for a deliciously queer twist on the classic tale, where a buttoned-up Scrooge learns that the only thing better than cold, hard cash is sassy striptease and community connection.

Watch as three gorgeous ghosts of burlesque — Past, Present, and Future — shimmy, strip, and seduce Scrooge back to life through jaw-dropping drag and burlesque, cheeky humor, and enough sparkle to make your tinsel jealous. From the roaring '20s to the digital doomscroll, travel through time to discover how burlesque has always been a safe, sexy space for queers, misfits, and anyone who's ever felt like the black sheep at the family dinner table.

What to Expect:

✨ Dazzling burlesque performances that blend history, hilarity, and heat
🎭 A heartwarming story about chosen family and community
🏳️‍🌈 Unapologetically queer storytelling and representation
🎶 Genre-bending music from holiday classics to contemporary bops
💋 Interactive, consent-forward audience engagement
🍸 Full bar available at the legendary Painted Lady (19+)
✨ A festive, body-positive, sex-positive celebration

  • Date night with a daring difference
  • Friend groups seeking holiday magic with a wink and a smile
