Are you looking for an opportunity to inspire and support the next generation of leaders? Join us as a volunteer for our upcoming Networking Mixer at the Ward 5 Advanced Technical Center! Your support as a volunteer is essential to making this event a success. Please be sure to share this invite with anyone in your network who may be interested in participating!
We’re connecting general nursing and cybersecurity high school students with various professionals, mentors, and community members to help them explore career paths, build connections, and gain valuable insights. You do not need to be a healthcare or cybersecurity professional. Anyone passionate about supporting students is welcome to volunteer!
Since many of our students are new to networking and interviewing, volunteers will meet with students to provide tips around elevator pitches and interviewing skills. Additionally, volunteers will assist students in understanding the importance of active listening, networking etiquette, and following up after initial meetings, ensuring they leave with the confidence and skills needed to succeed in future professional interactions.
