About this Event
The César E. Chávez Legacy & Educational Foundation (CECLEF) would like to cordially invite you and the City of San Antonio to the 29th Annual César E. Chávez March for Justice on Saturday, March 22nd. Events will begin at 9 AM and the march steps off at the intersection of Guadalupe & Brazos Street to Hemisfair Park at 10 AM.
The César E. Chávez March for Justice is a San Antonio Tradition since 1997! We hope everyone can join us for all the events and help unite our community as we celebrate the life and legacy of César E. Chávez and Dolores Huerta and together strengthen our voices on critical issues for our community, especially when it comes to social justice and education!
Co-Sponsored by the City of San Antonio, The César Chávez March for Justice is organized by The César E. Chávez Legacy & Educational Foundation. Today, the organization is led by Ernest J. Martinez, the son of CECLEF’s founder, the late Jaime P. Martinez.
About the March:
· Every year, the march begins at the intersection of Guadalupe and Brazos near the Guadalupe Cultural Arts Center.
· The march is 2 miles long.
· Water Stations will be available at the 1/2 way point at Flores and César Chávez Blvd.
· Portable restrooms and hand washing stations will be available at the start and end of the route.
· Wear comfortable tennis shoes and dress according to the weather forecast.
· Our event is a pet friendly event.

· 9:00 AM (Morning Stage): Morning Program and Speakers at the Intersection of Guadalupe and Brazos next to Guadalupe Theater (1301 Guadalupe St)
· 10:00 AM: March steps off for Hemisfair Civic Park
· 11:15 AM - 1:30 PM: Celebration at Hemisfair with Music – Special Guest Speakers
