About this Event
Workshop Overview.
This one-day Improvisation & Acting Workshop is a practical, engaging introduction to the tools actors use to communicate with confidence, clarity, and presence — skills that are equally valuable in professional and everyday settings.
Improvisation is not about being funny or performing on stage. It is about listening fully, responding in the moment, and thinking clearly under pressure. Through a series of guided, supportive exercises, participants will develop greater ease when speaking, improve their vocal presence, and learn how to communicate more naturally and confidently in real time.
The workshop is ideal for professionals who want to strengthen their communication skills, feel more confident contributing in meetings or presentations, and develop the ability to think on their feet. It is also perfectly suited to anyone who has ever been curious about acting and would like a low-pressure opportunity to explore it without the need to memorise lines or perform scripted scenes.
No previous acting or performance experience is required. The day is highly interactive, practical, and supportive, with a strong focus on building confidence, awareness, and expressive skills that can be applied immediately in both professional and creative contexts.
