Opening Night Celebration and Prize Giving CeremonyBarung Landcare is excited to invite you to the opening of the Sunshine Coast Wootha Prize in its new venue - the Glass House at Montvale.
The 16th Sunshine Coast Wootha Prize event is celebrating its first year as a standalone event alongside the Montville Timber Trail. The prize celebrates beautifully crafted timber sculpture and furniture from sustainably sourced native timbers and W**d timbers.
As well as announcing the winners in each category - Furniture, Sculpture and Tiny Treasures - we are honoured to launch the William Bayliss Commemorative Prize as the major Wootha Prize award.
Key sponsors include MCU Communities, Hinterland Business, Queensland Water and Land Carers, and Arbortech.
The exhibition will be open for viewing and refreshments will be served.
We invite you to meet the artists and enjoy the atmosphere at the beautiful “Montvale” venue. All works are for sale.
