As we move into the cooler months, join us for an expressive ink and wash workshop where we’ll capture the atmosphere of Autumn and winter trees. Using the warm tones of autumn and the cool tones of winter, we’ll explore how colour, line, and texture create mood and character in nature.We’ll begin with watercolour washes, texture, and expressive mark-making, experimenting with salt and natural tools like sticks and dip pens. At the end, we’ll add ink to our work, learning all about Walnut Ink — how it’s made, its beautiful warm brown tone, and how to use it to add depth and character.
What you’ll learn:
