About this Event

Introducing Praxis Dialogues

The Paulo Freire Initiative at Columbia University launches an annual series of events titled Praxis Dialogues, proposing engaging and transformative dialogues around practices, projects, programs, and public policies observed in diverse educational settings in the United States, Brazil, and worldwide. Utilizing the Freirean Praxis framework of Action-Reflection-Action, this event builds on the articulation between academic scholarship and practical lessons, recommendations, and knowledge emerging from the contemporary implementation of critical and popular educational frameworks.
