Petalpalooza®, presented by M&T Bank, returns on Saturday, April 4, from 1 – 9 p.m. with more than10 city blocks along the Navy Yard filled with activities, performances, and experiences across five dynamic zones. Each of our five zones offers a unique way to celebrate spring! Challenge friends to lawn games or get hands-on at creativity stations—the day is yours to design. Cherry Blast® returns with a vibrant celebration honoring the Detroit roots of this year's official artist, Tim Yanke. The area will feature Motown-themed music, Detroit-style pizza, and hands-on fun, including t-shirt decorating and creative craft activities. This zone packs in tons of energy and excitement, with some pay-to-play experiences within it, making it a Festival highlight you won’t want to miss. Fuel your Festival experience with bites from a dozen food trucks or dine alfresco at NavYard BID neighborhood eateries. Music fans can catch an amazing lineup of live performances on the M&T Bank Main Stage and the "202" Stage! Cheer on rising local talent at the DC Performance Stage, curated by Washington Performing Arts. Cap off your perfect spring day with the Official National Cherry Blossom Festival®Fireworks over the Anacostia River—a spectacle that starts at 8:30 p.m. However you choose to
