This hui is the annual showcase and celebration of Permaculture goodness from all around Aotearoa with a unique bioregional flavour.
It aims to:
Generate positive change and build collaboration.
Grow the Permaculture community, by strengthening relationships between permaculture practitioners, as well as ‘newbies’ throughout the country
Provide an opportunity for local public to learn about permaculture.

🌻TIMING:
The event starts from 2pm on Friday, April 10th.
It is important to arrive to register between 2-4pm at the marae gate. There will be a Powhiri at 4.30pm sharp.
The Hui concludes on Monday, April 13 at 2pm and is followed by Field Trips (Book separately at https://events.humanitix.com/pchui2026-tours)
🌻TICKETS INCLUDE...
Attendance at all sessions and evening cultural activities
All meals (first shared meal Friday dinner, last meal Monday lunch)
Marae stay available for 80 people (take care to choose the correct ticket if wishing to include marae overnight stay)
Kids program for 4-13yrs olds
🌻WANT TO HOST A WORKSHOP?
The Hui program has space for participants offering workshops by application. As the Hui is a co-creative event, workshop facilitators are not eligible for any ticket discounts. Apply via the PiNZ website.
🌻VOLUNTEERING:
There are 13 work exchange positions available: The exchange is for a full Hui ticket including overnight stay on marae in exchange for 16.5 hours work contribution. In order to apply, you will need to purchase a full Hui ticket first, then apply via the Application form on the PiNZ website. If you are selected, you will be refunded the ticket cost immediately after the Hui. If you are not selected, you can choose to still attend the Hui as a paying participant, or you can cancel your ticket free of charge until 2 weeks prior the event online via Humanitix.
