Come on out for our 6th Annual Juneteenth celebration: Saturday, June 20, 2025 ,
from 12pm to 3pm. This year we'll be on the West 128th Street block, between Frederick Douglass Blvd. & Saint Nicholas; with all the same fun: music, street games, chess, FREE books, readings, art projects, a magic show and good company. We welcome everyone, friends old and new.
Hosted since 2021 by Kids Passport To Adventure and Made for Me Books, we do this for our community, to mark this important holiday with a joyful, family-friendly celebration. Webring you this event with our partners: Uptown Team Dreamers, Ayana Lowe (live music), Fusha african dance, Blue balloon and many wonderful volunteers, friends and family.
Don't miss this occasion to be in community and celebrate Juneteenth - when ALL people were declared free.
