Ready to try something new, meet great people, and have an amazing night out? This is the perfect place to start. Join us on Friday, April 10 at 6:00 PM at the Hyatt Regency Calgary for an exciting evening of free beginner dance classes designed for anyone looking to step onto the dance floor with confidence.
Whether you’ve never danced before or just want to brush up on the basics, our professional instructors will guide you through a variety of popular styles including Two Step, West Coast Swing, Line Dance, Country Swing, and more.

After the classes, stick around for our Beginner Welcome Information Session, where we’ll show you how to navigate the event, introduce you to the different dance styles and rooms, and help you feel right at home at the Calgary Dance Stampede.
Then keep the energy going with our “Stay & Play” social dancing — featuring three massive dance halls with incredible music and dancers from around the world (social dance admission applies).
This is your chance to be part of Canada’s largest Country, West Coast Swing, and Line Dance event — all in a fun, welcoming, and beginner-friendly environment.
