Description of class: In this six-week series for ages 8-12, young artists will explore the techniques and backgrounds of celebrated illustrators such as Eric Carle, Quentin Blake, Julie Flett, and Jeff Kinney, while developing their own unique artistic voice. Each week introduces a new style and medium, from collage and watercolour to expressive ink drawing and comics. Perfect for creative kids who love drawing and storytelling!No prior art experience required.
About your creative guide : Jacqueline is an artist whose practice focuses primarily on oil painting, often inspired by the natural world and the landscapes around her. She holds a BA in Psychology with a minor in Visual Art from the University of British Columbia. Her classes emphasize creative expression, curiosity, and connection.
