About the Event: The Women Who Inspire Awards, brings together Canadian Muslim women of diverse backgrounds to recognize those who have achieved excellence in sports, business, education, arts, community service and leadership. This initiative was launched in 2007 to recognize Canadian Muslim women who have made a difference in the lives of other people in Canada and/or abroad. This year's theme, "Bridging the Gap – Advancing Equity Through Action", will honour trailblazers whose work is actively transforming communities, advancing justice, and creating tangible pathways toward equity.
What to Expect:
- Panel Discussion: Hear from our distinguished honourees as they share their journeys, challenges, and triumphs in the pursuit of positive change.
- Keynote Address: Engage with a renowned keynote speaker who will offer valuable insights and perspectives on the theme of resistance and resilience.
- Awards Ceremony: Witness the recognition of outstanding women who have made significant contributions to society in various fields and the presentation of CCMW’s Lila Fahlman Scholarships.
- Empowerment and Networking: Connect with a diverse and dynamic group of attendees who share a passion for promoting women's leadership and empowerment.
How to Attend: Registration for the 2025 Women Who Inspire Awards is open to all. A portion of the ticket sales will go towards CCMW’s Lila Fahlman Scholarship Fund. Join us and be part of this transformative event that celebrates the strength, resilience, and leadership of Canadian Muslim women.
