PREREQUISITE FOR THIS URBAN RETREAT: DEEPER LAMRIM COURSE (Completed or in Process of Completing)IN PERSON or ONLINE
Buddhist Monk Tenzin Gawa (Jason) will be the guide for this retreat, which will include teachings and meditation about Ngondro practice. As prerequisite, we ask that you follow the Deeper Lamrim course, or you have studied already Lamrim and are very eager to Buddhist practice.
Buddhist Teachings are of 2 categories : Sutras and Mantras. The fundamental Buddhist teachings are explained in the Sutras. They are primordial for anyone who wants to practice Buddhist philosophy and achieve more happiness. Mantra teachings are more deep and require a good understanding and integration of Sutra teachings. One needs also to prepare for Mantra teachings and enter the Vajrayana through being familiarized with the Ngondros (preparatory practices). These will be explained and practiced during this retreat.

For this retreat, you can bring these 2 books with you. They are also available here at our shop. If you have a bell, dorje and a mala, you can bring them, you will be able to use it (we have these also in our small shop if you need).
For the retreat, the schedule is: 2 sessions in the morning, 2 sessions in the afternoon, from 9:00 AM to 4:00 PM, including breaks and time for lunch. Each session lasts about 1h15.
This Urban Retreat is without accomodation and doesn't include food. We will have coffee, tea and snacks for the breaks.
Spots are limited, so book early to guarantee yours. We will take approximatively 1 hour for lunch time. You can bring your lunch if you want as we have a microwave in our small kitchen.
Because we limit the number of the participants so we will not be able to make refunds if you like to cancel only 10 days before the event.
