Johns Hopkins University (JHU) Alumni Association invites you to the JHU Alumni Spring Winery Tour. Our goal is to help alumni connect and build more opportunities for engagement. This fun and informative winery tour is a great opportunity to visit some of the best wineries in Northern Virginia, taste award-winning wines, and connect with fellow alumni in an engaging and fun atmosphere.
Recent JHU graduates are highly encouraged to attend as new members of the alumni community!
The winery tour will take place on Saturday, April 26, 2025, including pick-up / drop-off from L'Enfant Plaza (Washington, DC) and the East Falls Church Metro (Arlington, VA), respectively. Pick up will take place from 480 L’Enfant Plaza (Hilton Washington DC The Wharf) at 10:00 AM and from East Falls Church Metro at 10:30 AM.
The winery tour event is organized through Spirited Tours and includes the following:
· Traveling in an executive transportation vehicle;
· Learning about the Virginia wine history and industry from a certified wine expert;
· Tour of the winery and meet and greet with the owners at ; and
· Guided tasting at Gray Ghost Winery and flight of wines at
Optional: Lunch at Narmada Winery – Indian food and Pizzas available (pre-order must be received at least 7 days ahead of the tour).
Please book/RSVP your spot As Soon As Possible since there is limited available space. The book/RSVP deadline will also close on Friday, April 18, 2025 in order to allow Spirited Tours to finalize tour logistical issues. Please note that attendees are responsible bringing any other snacks and food, purchasing any additional wine, and gratuity.
