We are thrilled to be honoring Puerto Rican actress, producer, and singer-songwriter Roselyn Sánchez with the prestigious National Ceiba Award.
Roselyn Sánchez first wowed audiences in New Line’s 2001 blockbuster hit RUSH HOUR 2 starring opposite Chris Tucker and Jackie Chan, playing the character Isabella Molina, an undercover Secret Service Agent. More recently, she starred on Fantasy Island as Elena Roarke (2021-2023), and is known for her leading roles on Grand Hotel (2019) and the Lifetime comedy-drama Devious Maids (2013-2016). Roselyn has also co-hosted the Latin Grammy’s on five occasions.
In addition, the Ceiba Award for 2024 Artist of the Year, will go to the legendary AfroBoricua artist Juan Sánchez. We are also thrilled to announce that Omi Hopper, well known for her Cooking con Omi brand, has committed to be our 2024 Emcee.
