The Gracies Leadership Awards Luncheon recognizes the outstanding accomplishments of female executives paving the way as change-agents and ceiling-breakers across our industry. The award is a modification of AWM’s former Women Who Lead Award renamed to appropriately intensify and embolden its alignment with the prestigious Gracies brand.
For decades, the Alliance for Women in Media Foundation has bestowed the coveted Gracie Award on the producers, directors, actors and writers for extraordinary work. The Gracies are named for the iconic Gracie Allen, who was indeed as much a talent as she was a brilliant and visionary business leader. The Gracie Leadership Award is now complete by spotlighting the media industry’s business leaders. As a result, the Gracies now represent all individuals who work tirelessly to bring the very best in programming to millions of people around the world.
