- Due to high demand, places at each session are not reserved but available on a first-come, first served basis.

- We recommend arriving in good time for the start of the session to avoid disappointment.

Festive Family Fun Days:
We will be running two Family Fun Days in December for our CREATE and Arts & Dance families to celebrate the festive season with creative making, games, songs and snacks!
Saturdays, 10.30am - 12.30pm
Dates: 07 & 14 December 2024
Where: West Pilton Neighbourhood Centre [19 West Pilton Grove, Edinburgh EH4 4BY]
We will then pause for the Christmas break, with weekly sessions returning from 09 January 2025.
About CREATE:
CREATE is a supportive creative group for local children aged 5 and under with their parents and carers.
CREATE engages families in inspiring activities including art-making, messy play, storytelling and music, in a relaxed and inclusive space.
CREATE provides the support, resources, ideas and creative inspiration for a range of activities that can often be replicated at home using recycled, low-or-no cost and easy-to-find materials.
All welcome!
Free healthy snacks are provided as part of the session, as well as hot drinks for the adults.
Sessions usually take place indoors - or sometimes outdoors if weather permits - so please:
- Wear comfortable clothes and layers that you don’t mind getting messy;
- Wear footwear that allows you to be active and move;
- Bring a warm/waterproof outer layer, just in case we make it outdoors!
Please note:
- Parents and carers are responsible for supervising their children at all times during the sessions;
- We encourage adults and children to take part and be active members of the group by helping out, being kind and supportive of each other;
- We encourage families to help make CREATE a 'technology free zone'. Where possible, we would kindly ask adults to put away mobile phones and tablets during the sessions, unless needed to support your participation or for emergencies. Our team may use their devices sometimes during sessions - e.g. to take photos, access resources, or help with registration but we will aim to keep this to a minimum.

Important Information:
- These sessions are aimed at children ages 0-5 and their parents/carers, living in the local community (areas of Muirhouse, Pilton, Granton and Drylaw).
- Registration for the term is FREE and required before attending. Due to high demand, registration does not guarantee a place at every session. Once registered, places at each session are offered to families on a first come, first served basis.
