About this Event
Have you had dreams of crocheting beautiful blankets, handmade jumpers or boho cushion covers but never managed to pick up a hook? Or maybe you have, but never got the hang of it. This workshop is perfect for total beginners because we start from the very beginning!
Crocheting looks pretty impressive, and maybe a little intimidating. Don't worry - its all for show! Crocheting is all about wrapping the yarn around a hook and pulling it though holes. Really once you've got the hang of that - you're a crocheter!
This workshop will start you off with the basic skills, techniques and stitches that you need to make crocheting your new 'thing'.
Crocheting is an enjoyable and relaxing hobby that can help you to recharge and regroup in times of stress. It's an accessible way to look after your wellbeing and mental health as well as being fun and helping you feel productive!
This workshop takes place at Counter in Edinburgh, where you will be able to access the bar for drinks and light bites throughout the workshop - one drink is included in your ticket price.
All materials and equipment will be provided, and you will even leave with your own crochet hook and yarn to carry on your practice at home!
