This 200 Hour Foundational Yoga Teacher Training program is an emergency cord, a lifeline for you to stop letting the noise distract you, to wake up and self-regulate, so that you can integrate this very real and, sometimes, very heavy experience of being an eternal spirit soul experiencing this crazy material world from inside a very temporary physical body.
In this program, we train your attention, your nervous system, and your voice so that you can truly connect to the truth of what matters most and meet your life with authenticity. You'll learn everything you need to know to be an incredible yoga teacher, but more importantly, you'll learn how to focus, breathe, and feel, to choose your lived experience with intention.

Skills that exceed Yoga Alliance standards for 200-Hour yoga teacher training programs:
Asana (Postures): A deep dive into the foundational poses, including alignments, modifications, benefits, and how to sequence them into flows or sets.
Pranayama (Breathing): Various techniques like Nadi Shodhana, Ujjayi, Kapalbhati, Bhramari, and their effects on prana (life force).
Anatomy & Physiology: Understand the myofascial structures of the body, how each part relates to the other parts, and how functional movement works in the field of gravity. Learn injury prevention and how yoga impacts the body.
Yoga Philosophy & Ethics: Explore the true meaning of "Yoga" through an in-depth study of the Bhagavad Gita, The Eight Limbs as described The Yoga Sutras of Patanjali, Chakras, and applied yoga teacher ethics/lifestyle.
Shatkarma (Cleansing): An introduction to yogic purification techniques like Neti (nasal cleansing), Kapalbhati, and Nauli, for physical and mental purification.
Meditation (Dhyana): Techniques for concentration, mindfulness, breath awareness, and different meditation styles, including Yoga Nidra.
Teaching Methodology: Master intent-setting, class design, sequencing, cueing, demonstrations, hands-on assists, time management, and building a positive teaching environment.
Mantra & Chanting: Devotional chanting of mantras with Kirtan and japa (chanting on 108 beads) for focus and developing spiritual progress.
