About this Event
This 200 hour Yoga Teacher Training is led by Nam Chanterrwyn AYC Level 3 and Amy Freeman a senior instructor with over 25 years of experience Together they guide you through a training that blends anatomy biomechanics and functional movement with the deeper roots of yoga philosophy.
You will explore asana breathwork meditation and mindfulness in a way that actually makes sense in your body and your life not just on the mat.
Whether your goal is to teach or deepen your personal practice, or both, this training meets you where you are and builds from there.
Training Environment
This training takes place across two beautiful spaces, including a private outdoor classroom that offers a fresh, open setting for learning and practice. Set within Pier to Point Wellness & Spa, you will also have access to spa amenities and the opportunity to book self-care sessions during breaks, allowing you to restore, reset, and fully integrate the work as you go.

Nam brings a rare combination of precision depth and real world application to his teaching
An AYC Level 3 instructor trained under Jason Crandell and featured on Yoga International Nam’s approach is rooted in strength anatomical clarity and mindful movement His classes are known for detailed cueing intentional structure and hands on guidance that helps students truly feel what they are doing not just go through the motions
His philosophy is simple yoga should be understood not just experienced
Nam has worked with professional athletes across the NFL MLB and NBA supporting injury recovery mobility and performance Whether working with elite athletes or everyday students his focus remains the same helping people move better feel stronger and understand their bodies on a deeper level
Within the teaching community he is often considered a teachers teacher known for helping both students and instructors refine their understanding of movement strength and the purpose behind the practice
Amy Freeman
Amy’s teaching feels like coming home to yourself.
With over two decades of experience she brings a deeply grounded heart centered approach that weaves together yoga sound healing and holistic wellness Her path began in 1995 and evolved into teaching after leaving a corporate career to fully step into this work eventually studying at Yogaville Ashram under Swami Satchidananda.
Now based in San Diego Amy has built a strong supportive community through her compassionate and intuitive teaching style She guides Hatha Vinyasa and Restorative classes often integrating Reiki and sound healing to create experiences that go beyond the physical.
Her work is rooted in the belief that yoga is a way of being not just something you do on the mat Through both movement and stillness she helps students reconnect with themselves with greater awareness resilience and ease.
Currently completing her masters in Clinical Counseling with a focus on trauma informed care Amy brings an added layer of depth to her teaching creating a space that feels safe supportive and genuinely transformative.

You do not just learn yoga. You grow into someone who moves, speaks, and shows up with more awareness, integrity, and presence on and off the mat.
- Asana and Modifications
You stop trying to get the pose right and start building a practice that works for you while learning how to support different bodies safely and effectively.
- Communication and Expression
You learn how to put words to what you feel. Whether teaching or simply sharing, your voice becomes clearer, more confident, and your own.
- Sequencing and Flow
You begin to see the bigger picture. Why classes are structured the way they are and how to create sequences that feel intentional, balanced, and impactful.
- Practice and Integration
This is where it becomes real. You do not leave with information you leave with the confidence to step into what is next whether that is teaching, deepening your practice, or both.

Sundays | 1:30pm-6:30pm (3rd Sundays Off)
