About this Event
London based artists Manuela Amey & Nice Gmo have recently been awarded a printmaking scholarship at The Salzburg Academy of Fine Art in Austria.
The scholarship is only part funded, so this exhibition (180 Drawings for Salzburg) has been organised by the artists to generate funds to pay for flights/accommodation in Salzburg.
The exhibition focuses on drawings made by the artists from the last ten years and varies in content and medium.
The layout of the exhibition is quite schizophrenic and off-balanced, where no two walls are conneccted.
One wall of the gallery is dedicated to Amey's recent series 'How 2 Shave Your Arsehole'
And another wall is focused on Gmo's on-going practice of making imaginary event posters on A4 paper.
This exhibition will be open for one day (Saturday 16th May from 10am-3pm) at 127 Lower Marsh, London, SE1 7AE.
The exhibition is free entry and refreshments have been kindly provided by FishTank Workshop & 0207 Gallery.
All sales go directly to the artists to fund their study in Salzburg.
