About this Event
We gather early in the evening to celebrate crossings, borderland identities, the joy of migration, and the power of resisting through music. Expect kulipandeo, chucu-chucu and tropical heat moving the dancefloor from start to finish.
This time we’re also celebrating our beloved Rataprincess’ birthday, so expect champetúa energy, verbena vibes y un poco de desorden.
On the decks:
Amancai: Afro-Caribbean and Colombian sound-system selections, from cumbia and champeta to tropical edits and beyond.
Rataprincess: hip hop, Latin club mutations and global underground flavours shaped between Bogotá, NYC and beyond.
Dr Perra: vinyl-heavy, borderless selections: salsa, currulao, merengue, MPB and electronic-infused Latin grooves.
Special guest: Cal Jader (Movimientos): a key force in London’s Latin underground, blending Afro-Latin beats, carnival rhythms, cumbia, dembow and global bass with deep cuts and future-facing tropical sounds. From clubs to festivals worldwide, his sets connect continents and keep dancefloors moving.
