🟢🔴{HU} Budapest egyik legkülönlegesebb alternatív zenei és kulturális helyszíne, a 8. kerület egyik nevezetessége sajnos elhagyja jelenlegi Auróra utca 11. szám alatti helyét. Arra gondoltunk, hogy az Inverted Spectrum Records 11. évfordulójának megünneplésére ez egy kiváló alkalom lenne, és a város egyik legérdekesebb zenei együttesét, az ABCGy Quartetet hoztuk el az Aurórába, hogy első és egyben utolsó koncertjüket adják a helyszínen, amely egyben az Auróra egyik utolsó koncertje is lesz.
A közönséget a koncertterembe be és onnan ki is Dr. Sarıhan kíséri az Inverted Spectrum Records-tól, aki rövid ideig a DJ-pult mögött áll, és olyan zenekarok számait játssza majd, akik korábban az Aurórában léptek fel a kiadó rendezvényein – nevezetesen a Gentry Sultan, a Crno Dete, a Lyuhász Lyácint Bt., a heavenphetamine, Alakváltó Együttes, Alas! és Cumulus Clan. Ezzel búcsúzik a helyszíntől, amely sok alternatív, underground és avantgárd zenekarnak nyitotta meg kapuit.

{ENG} One of the most special venues in Budapest for alternative music and culture and a landmark of the 8th district is sadly leaving it's current location on Auróra utca 11. We thought this would be a meaningful occasion to mark the 11th anniversary of Inverted Spectrum Records, and bring one of the most interesting musical ensembles in the town, informally known as ABCGy Quartet, to Auróra for their first and last concert in the venue, which will also be one of the last concerts held in Auróra.
And to escort the audience in and out of the concert room, Dr. Sarıhan from Inverted Spectrum Records will be briefly behind the DJ desk, playing music by the bands that were previously hosted by Auróra at the label's events — namely, Gentry Sultan, Crno Dete, Lyuhász Lyácint Bt., heavenphetamine, Alakváltó Együttes, Alas!, and Cumulus Clan — as a little farewell to this venue that had opened its doors to many alternative, underground, and avantgarde bands.

Mingus! Mingus!, Peter Problem, Bujdosó Trió, Pop Ivan, Egy Kiss Erzsi Zene, Európa Kiadó, Balaton, Jazzekiel, Czitrom & Porteleki, Siketfajd, Csicskakoporsó, Attila Gyárfás Trio, Kovász, Quelquefois, Less is More 4, és Lego Lassi. A kvartett első fellépése 2023 októberében volt: ekkor az Inverted Spectrum Records azzal kereste meg a tagokat, hogy egy szabad improvizációs szettet játsszanak a "The Underground Jazz Scene in Budapest Today" című válogatásalbum bemutató koncertjén. Bár eredetileg egyszeri formációnak szántuk, de ez már a hatodik alkalom, hogy ezt a csodálatos és kiszámíthatatlan kvartettet színpadon láthatjuk.
{EN} Péter Ajtai, János Bujdosó, Ádám Czitrom and Attila Gyárfás are veteran musicians from the Hungarian alternative jazz, rock and fusion scenes, known from bands such as Qiyan, Nigun, Muri No Muri, Mingus! Mingus! Mingus!, Peter Problem, Bujdosó Trio, Pop Ivan, Egy Kiss Erzsi Zene, Európa Kiadó, Balaton, Jazzekiel, Czitrom & Porteleki, Siketfajd, Csicskakoporsó, Attila Gyárfás Trio, Kovász, Quelquefois, Less is More 4 and Lego Lassi. The quartet’s first performance was in October 2023 when the individual members were asked by Inverted Spectrum Records to play a free improvisation set at the release concert for the compilation album “The Underground Jazz Scene in Budapest Today”. Even though it was initially meant to be a one-time formation, this is already the sixth time we're inviting this amazing, unpredictable quartet to the stage.
