As Lindytopia drifts toward its final horizon, you’re invited to the Isle of Jazz, a relaxing refuge where you get to do whatever you want to end an epic weekend.Isle of Jazz will have three things going on at once!
1. SOCIAL DANCING. Is your brain full? Are your feet sore but happy? We’ll be putting on some sweet swing music in the Back Room to end the weekend with chillaxing social dancing.
2. REAL BOOGIE WOOGIE! For the first time EVER in Perth, experience European Boogie Woogie at its finest taught by none other than world champions Sondre and Tanya. The only other way to experience this is to travel 14,000km in a plane! And though I have done it and loved the experience, it’s not something you can do very often …
3. BARE FOOT BOWLS. Mt Lawley Bowling Club puts on a social game of bowls every Monday night. Learn to bowl or take part in a game.
We knew we couldn’t let Sondre and Tanya leave Perth without sharing their other passion - Boogie Woogie. So we’re excited that they’ve agreed to teach these extra classes. These classes are not part of Lindytopia, and will work like a normal Monday night and cost $25 for one class or $40 for both. The Boogie Woogie will be taught in the front hall and separated into two parts. Part 1 starts at 7:30pm, Part 2 starts at 8:30pm.
The Back Room is included in Lindytopia Passes. Class discounts for Lindytopia passes.
The bar will be open.
