Hello WCS & WCS-ish friends, and welcome to SV-3!Thank you for playing with us at our first two events! We're still learning, and thank you all for the feedback. We are keeping a lot and adding a little bit as we refine and hope to make this dance even better!
Things that are staying the same
- *Three rooms* of classes and music
- Bringing back our Tango friends (Swango!)
- Rotating to a new third dance: Lindy Hop!
- Dance ambassadors for *each dance*
A couple changes:
- A new Points+ class at 7pm (an hour earlier) for our WSC dancers (additional $10)

- Share more cultural differences from dance to dance
If you attended our first event, we completely overwhelmed our classes, PLEASE RSVP 🙏 - this helps us plan and bring you the best experience.
Have a different dance in your tool belt? We encourage fusing your Argentine Tango, Brazilian Zouk, Lindy Hop, Blues, and other dance influences.

*About our name*
Swing Violation (SV) is a kind of judging penalty given in WCS competitions when less than 75% of the routine is WCS.
*This is a cashless event. Please contact us at [email protected] with any questions or concerns about the event.
*Points+ WCS Class: this class requires you to have a single point in Novice or above divisions in WCS *or* reach out to the organizers if you feel you qualify for this class. The intention is to have a higher skilled class, not to competition-gate the instruction
