There is something truly special about a Polish Easter. The fragrance of fresh-baked babka, the warmth of żurek, the sight of beautifully decorated eggs — it brings back cherished memories of holidays spent around crowded tables, laughter filling the room.
Our wonderful volunteer ladies in the kitchen always prepare a delicious and heartfelt meal. While the exact menu is their special touch, you can look forward to traditional Easter favorites such as:
🥚 Blessed eggs (pisanki) – a symbol of new life and renewal
🍖 Baked ham (szynka) served with horseradish or ćwikła
🌭 Kielbasa – fresh or smoked, a must on every Polish Easter table
🥣 Żurek – hearty sour rye soup with egg and sausage
🍰 Babka – sweet, airy yeast cake, a holiday classic
After dinner, children are invited to join in an Easter Egg Hunt, adding even more joy to this festive afternoon.
