ZOUNDS! x UoB History Society Screening

Join us at The Hatchet Inn for an evening screening hosted by ZOUNDS! and the University of Bristol History Society. It’s happening on April 30, 2026, at 7:30 PM (BST). Come hang out, enjoy some great company, and dive into some fascinating history on the big screen. Don't miss out!
ZOUNDS! is the comedic tale of Rob (George Marshall) and Barnabus (Dan Cassin-Scott), two hopeless best mates trying (and failing) to find success, love, and purpose in a grimy Tudor England that feels suspiciously like a Wetherspoons. This is an exclusive test screening of the pilot episode, in which Rob and Barnabus accidentally end up getting almost executed in order to impress the new barmaid, Elizabeth.

We are also looking for historians to be consulting producers whilst we write the rest of the season. So if you're a Tudor fanatic who has a whole lot of knowledge but doesn't know what to do with it, come speak to us and see our show!
This event gives us a chance to test the comedy, editing and overall vibe of the show. Recommended for fans of Inbetweeners, Plebs and Horrible Histories.
