Join us for an afternoon of lyrical and rhythmic music for solo guitar, travelling from Renaissance England and Bach’s Baroque elegance to the colours of Spain, Latin dance, and Persian folk traditions.
Born into a musical family, Zoe began playing the guitar at the age of four and quickly emerged as one of the most exciting young voices in the classical guitar world. Her performances are marked by artistry, imagination, and a distinctive approach that continues to captivate audiences.
As a soloist, Zoe has appeared at renowned venues including Wigmore Hall, the Amaryllis Fleming Concert Hall, and Kings PlaceIn.
Zoe is widely recognized for her pioneering technique of performing standing up, described as “a total engagement and communication of the performer’s mind, body, and soul.” This innovative approach adds striking energy and intimacy to her playing, offering audiences a unique and immersive concert experience.
Zoe is proud to be a D’Addario Artist and performs on a guitar handcrafted by Wimbledon-based luthier Nick Branwell. Zoe Barecently graduating with a Master’s degree from the Royal College of Music, where she studied with the generous support of the Derek Butler Trust.

The London Sketch Club’s concerts aim to give promising musicians the opportunity to perform pieces of their choice in an informal setting while members and guests spend an enjoyable afternoon. The concert is relaxed, so music lovers of all ages are welcome. There will be music, tea, coffee and biscuits.
The London Sketch Club is a lively private members’ club for both professional and amateur artists. The club holds life drawing and portrait sessions where members, and non-members, sketch and draw in a unique convivial atmosphere. We also hold concerts for members and the public.
