About this Event
Pocket-Sized Muse is a guided creative workshop that invites participants to slow down, play with watercolor, and transform their unique explorations into a personal zine. The goal is to spark connection through self-expression, and to leave participants with a gentle reminder that inspiration and creativity are always present within us.
The workshop will include:
1. A brief introduction to the wet-on-wet watercolor technique.
2. A hands-on demonstration on how to create a small, four-page zine
from a A4 sheet of paper.
3. A selection of inspiring texts (including Canadian poetry, quotes of Canadian artists and yogic excerpts) for participants to incorporate into your zine.
What to bring?
Favorite items to include in your zine such as quotes, images, and any other inspiration you might like to add.
