Join us at our very own Patcha zine press on March 5th where we will be crafting zines that reflect on ways to make our fashion choices more sustainable!
Explore the world of responsible dressing through textures, colours, typography and negative space while experimenting with layering and collaging techniques to create your own unique mini magazine that tells its very own story.
You'll leave with a tangible keepsake including your own handmade zine, cover and bookmark up-cycled from Patcha's fabric offcuts.
All equipment provided (although you are welcome to bring your own magazines and collage materials) and no experience needed.
Drinks kindly provided by OOM Drinks.
Guided by Scarlett Collier at The Green `Zine, an independently published mini climate creativity magazine that aims to inspire positive action and provide an escape from 'doomism' by highlighting hopeful, solution-focused approaches to the climate crisis. Scarlett guides upcycling workshops for others to share in her practice.
Patcha is a London-based upcycled fashion brand living at the intersection of sustainability and creativity, transforming discarded textiles into one-of-a-kind garments and accessories. Born from a deep belief in circular fashion and a frustration with the waste of fast fashion, Patcha repurposes materials like vintage shirts, denim and damaged boots into unique trousers, jackets, bags and more — each piece telling its own story of individuality and circularity. With collections designed and made in London and collaborations with local artisans, Patcha champions mindful style and meaningful design through its evolving programme of sustainable fashion innovations.
