Zen Experience: Korean Temple Dessert Workshop & Tea Ceremony
Experience the Art of Korean Buddhism through Taste and Tea
We invite you to a special afternoon of mindfulness and culture. In this hands-on workshop, you will learn to make traditional Korean temple sweets and participate in a calming tea ceremony.
🌱 What You Will Experience:
- Mindful Cooking: Learn the philosophy behind Korean temple food, focusing on plant-based ingredients and balance.
- Hands-on Workshop: Guided by a certified specialist, you will make your own traditional sweets.
- Tasting Session: Enjoy and share two types of desserts prepared during the class.
- Tea Ceremony: A meditative tea session hosted by Venerable Young-jo.

👩🍳 Meet Your Instructor: Woolim Kim Woolim is a Certified Korean Temple Food Chef recognized by the Korean Buddhist Cultural Heritage Foundation. With a background in Culinary Management & Nutrition from George Brown College, she brings a blend of traditional knowledge and modern nutritional science to her classes.
