Zawadi Carroll is a singer, songwriter, and creative director from Washington, DC. Zawadi reinterprets Black feminist & Afrofuturist ethos into a wide range of genres from indie-soul and fussy-funk to ambient soundscapes like her EP, PLANET 26. Zawadi’s lyrics embrace the power of feminine energy while her voice breathes calm and glamour into her listener’s ear. Zawadi is one of the founders of the House of Ethereal Realness, a femme-based arts collective committed to providing intentional and safe spaces that foster radical joy and love.

ASTROTHESPACEGHOST is a genre-defying songwriter and lyricist who blends melancholic hip-hop and indie vibes with deeply personal, raw storytelling. With diverse live performance experience across the DMV, her favorite moments are spent performing at mutual aid events to uplift her community.
