Zappostrophe’…dares to take on Zappa’s weird and wonderful world - recreating his tunes with jaw-dropping musicianship, and a wink to his irreverent humour (CHEK TV, Victoria, 2024) Zappostrophe is a Vancouver-based 8-piece band, playing favourites and lesser-known works from Frank Zappa's eclectic recordings. We are all professional musicians with an eclectic mix of backgrounds and training – one thing we have in common is a love for the challenge of recreating (and re-imagining) Frank’s music.
We are really looking forward to playing again at Frankie's - come out and enjoy Frank's music and Frankie's food!
