ZAHN from Berlin have been making waves with their intense, driving sound that echoes the relentless march of a world on the edge. Consisting of Chris Breuer (HEADS., ex–THE OCEAN COLLECTIVE), Nic Stockmann (HEADS., ex–EISENVATER) and Felix Gebhard (MUFF POTTER, live–EINSTÜRZENDE NEUBAUTEN, live–TOCOTRONIC), ZAHN are exploring new creative territory, regardless of the bands they are known for. Their latest album, Adria, offers a bold escape from everyday life through vivid sonic landscapes that blend Krautrock, Dark Jazz, Noise Rock, Post-Punk, Post-Rock and Electronic Music. It takes listeners on an audacious journey through stark, dystopian worlds, drawing comparisons to NEU!, Metz, Swans, The Jesus Lizard, and Tortoise. ZAHN delivers a raw, visceral experience, challenging the status quo without saying a single word.
The band has made a powerful impression with electrifying performances at Desert Fest Berlin, Sonic Whip Festival, Orange Blossom Festival, Reeperbahn Festival and C/O Pop Festival. In 2024, they also successfully completed two highly attended headlining tours.
