On the 21st of September, The Peterborough Youth Council will hold a YouthFest in the city centre, on Cathedral Square and Bridge Street. Through this Fest, we aim to showcase the opportunities available for young people in Peterborough - relating to employability and work experience, skill-building, recreational activities, and well-being - and how a young person can attain these opportunities. There will be three zones: the Employability Zone, the Volunteering and Youth Opportunities Zone, and the Wellness Zone.1. Employability: This section will focus on young recruitment and providing opportunities for young individuals to kickstart their careers.
2. Youth Opportunities: This section will focus on building CVs, gaining valuable experience through volunteering and work placements, and exploring various opportunities for personal and professional development.
3. Wellness Zone: This section will focus on promoting overall well-being and mental health among young individuals.
