Join DC Bird Alliance for a FREE Youth Wildlife Photography Workshop series designed for young people interested in creativity, nature, and storytelling.
Participants will explore some of DC’s most beautiful green spaces while learning the fundamentals of wildlife photography from seasoned professional photographers. Each session combines guided birding, hands-on camera work, and opportunities to capture your own images in the field.
All equipment is provided, so no prior experience or gear is needed. Lunch will be provided.
This program is ideal for students curious about photography, environmental science, or simply spending time outdoors in a creative and supportive space.
Come ready to learn, explore, and see the city in a whole new way.
Participants must be at least 14 years old to register. Parent or guardian permission is required.
