About this Event
Young people from Castlebrae Community Campus and George Watson's College are inviting the people of Edinburgh to sit down and talk about what needs attention in the city – and how to move it forward.
Will you join them?
This Community Conversation brings people together to talk honestly about life in their local community.
We believe those who live here are the experts. What’s shared on the evening will be fed back to local councillors and community organisations, so it can inform real decisions.
Students from both schools have worked together to design and lead this discussion, creating space for open and respectful conversation across generations.
What to Expect

- A structured but informal format
- Different perspectives in the same room

Who young people want in the room

- Small businesses
- Residents from diverse backgrounds and experiences
- Anyone who cares about Edinburgh and its future

Why It Matters
Edinburgh is changing. Conversations about its future shouldn’t happen without the people who live here.
This is a chance to listen, speak, and think together about what comes next.
