💡 About the Youth in Philanthropy Program
The AFP New Brunswick Youth in Philanthropy program is a monthly extracurricular initiative that teaches students about giving back and the impact of philanthropy in their communities.
🤝 How the Students Chose Their Charity
As part of the program, students learn about local charities and the work they do. They’re then given “philanthropic dollars” (play money) to donate to causes that matter most to them. The charity that receives the most support becomes the focus of their real-world fundraising efforts — and this year, they chose Bobby’s Hospice.
