The Springfield Parks and Recreation Department is excited to host its 29th annual Youth Fishing Rodeo in partnership with the Tennessee Wildlife Resources Agency (TWRA).Kids aged 4- 14 are invited to fish from 8:00 a.m. to 11 a.m. on Saturday, June 6, 2026, at J. Travis Price Park, 4155 Wilks Road. The TWRA will stock the pond with fish ahead of the event.
Admission is free. Participants must bring fishing gear and bait. No artificial lures will be allowed.
In-person registration will be available at J. Travis Price Park from 7:00 a.m. to 8:00 a.m. All participants are required to register to receive a prize. Attendees are encouraged to save time by pre-registering online.
