You’ll learn helpful construction techniques, tips for sewing on Featherweights and vintage machines, and how to create a sturdy tote that’s perfect for summer outings, quilting retreats, farmers markets, or celebrating Americana style all season long.Whether you’re a longtime Featherweight fan or simply enjoy sewing with vintage flair, this special First Friday event is designed to inspire creativity, friendship, and confidence behind the machine.
Skill Level: Beginner
Skill Details: You must know how to use your sewing machine, this is not a sewing machine class. This is an activity to do while using your vintage sewing machine.
Materials Included: Hands on instructions, Northcott Panel to make tote bag, serging to complete the inside of the bag.
Requirements: Bring a working vintage sewing machine, does not have to be a featherweight. Fabric Scissors, Thread Snips, Thread and your favorite sewing notions. *Panel required with purchase.
