This LIVING EULOGIES show offers people the unique opportunity to eulogize the living, by sharing poems, prose, or song for that someone… WHO ISN'T DEAD YET!
Invite your loved one, your friend, your partner, your family... & take this chance to say everything you want to say while you still have the chance to say it.
Yes, you can eulogize yourself.
*And if you felt the need to re-euologize someone, someone you've eulogized before & want to do it again, OR someone you never got the chance to eulogize, there will be some room for this as well.
IF YOU ARE BRINGING THE PERSON YOU ARE EULOGIZING TO THE SHOW, YOU CAN SECURE YOUR SPOT ON THE LIST IN ADVANCE. We understand this offering might take more preparation, and out of respect for your time and the burden of logistics, we don’t want to risk you writing something AND bringing the person with you, just to run out of time (although that would be a good death practice - preparation is no guarantee of ANYTHING happening the way we plan)

There will still be plenty of sign-up spots available the night-of the event for eulogies for folks who aren’t present, as well as other spontaneous eulogy-adjacent shares.

Get there early if you want to sign up (and don’t qualify for advance sign up - SEE ABOVE)
If you’re going to perform, keep it under 5 MINUTES. That’s right: 5 MINUTES. WE WILL TIME YOU. And we will hug you when we have to stop you (you don’t actually have to be hugged, but you do need to stop at 5 mins)
Your eulogy can take the form of poetry, prose, music, dancing, comedy, drama, happy, sad, & on & on & on… Remember: EVERYTHING GOES… so do whatever you want.
You don’t have to perform anything;
the audience is as essential as the performers.
Please don’t perform anything with a setup that takes much more time than the time it takes for you to walk onstage!
IMPORTANT ::: DON’T TAKE YOURSELF SO SERIOUSLY. Come and have fun. The end. Remember. Someday, we won’t exist and neither will the English language. If you choose to take yourself seriously, then take yourself so seriously that it’s stupid. Ridiculousness is encouraged.
