About the readers:
Sasha Vasilyuk is a journalist and author of a debut novel, , winner of the California Book Award and the Sami Rohr Prize for Jewish Literature. It has been translated into seven languages. Her nonfiction has been published in the New York Times, CNN, Harper’s Bazaar, Time, USA Today, Los Angeles Times, Telegraph, KQED, and elsewhere. Sasha grew up between Ukraine and Russia before immigrating to the U.S. at the age of 13.
Molly Antopol’s first book, The UnAmericans (W.W. Norton), won the New York Public Library’s Young Lions Fiction Award, a National Book Foundation 5 Under 35 Award, a California Book Award Silver Medal and other prizes. Her writing has appeared in The New York Times, The New Yorker, Wall Street Journal, Granta, in the O. Henry Prize and Pushcart Prize anthologies. She is Assistant Professor of English and Creative Writing at Stanford University. Molly is finishing up a novel, which will also be published by Norton.
Jacqueline Doyle has published flash, stories, and creative nonfiction in Fourth Genre, Wigleaf, The Gettysburg Review, New World Writing, and many other journals. Her chapbook The Missing Girl is available from Black Lawrence Press. You can find her online at www.jacquelinedoyle.com.
Heather Grzych writes ancient medicine and speculative fiction. She is the author of The Ayurvedic Guide to Fertility, host of the globally ranked Wisdom of the Body Podcast, and former president of the National Ayurvedic Medical Association. Lee Kravetz is the author of the national bestselling novel The Last Confessions of Sylvia P., (The Millions Most Anticipated Pick and A Good Morning America Reads Pick) as well as acclaimed nonfiction, Strange Contagion and SuperSurvivors. He has written for print and television, including The New York Times, New York Magazine, Psychology Today, The Daily Beast, The San Francisco Chronicle, and PBS. He teaches at the Dominican University of California MFA Program, and lives in Berkeley.
Olga Zilberbourg is the author of LIKE WATER AND OTHER STORIES (WTAW Press) and four Russian-language story collections. She has published fiction and essays in Electric Literature, Lit Hub, Narrative, Alaska Quarterly Review, Confrontation, Scoundrel Time, and elsewhere. She co-edits Punctured Lines, a feminist blog on post-Soviet and diaspora literatures, and co-hosts the San Francisco Writers Workshop.
