About this Event
In this workshop we'll learn about Mary Oliver, read her poems, and write our own inspired by her work. All levels of writers are welcome.
Note: If you're able, please bring a flower, blade of grass, pinecone, or other nature object. Some will be provided as well.
About the instructor: Dylah Ray is a writer, educator, and bookseller. She is the owner of Petals & Pages, a queer, feminist bookstore, which was named Best Bookstore in Denver by 5280 Magazine. Her book of poetry, Perennials, was published in 2023. She has taught creative writing at Metro State University, The Colorado Women's History Museum, The Loft, and Page by Page. Dylah is currently a student in the Creative Writing and Literature graduate program at Harvard University.
