You will learn a simple copy-and-paste prompt set that upgrades ChatGPT from a helpful summary to an answer with receipts.
The first three prompts lock the model to your uploaded files only, force it to say "not found in the documents" instead of guessing, and require citations for every claim, including the document name, page, section, and supporting quotes.
Then three more prompts push verification even further: rescan the file to confirm each claim, flag anything unverified clearly, and apply a strict "only answer if you are 100% sure" rule for high-stakesdouble-check work.
This is the workflow you use when accuracy matters: contracts, policies, audits, HR guidelines, compliance docs, technical specs, vendor agreements, and anything you might need to forward to Legal or leadership.
