About this Event
Calling all young creators!
Join the Young Writer's Club team stall for a special Saturday showcase at the Zine Fair, where budding writers can display their zines, share their stories, and celebrate the art of DIY publishing.
Zines are a democratic, inclusive, radical form of grassroots publishing.
Zines are small, self‑published magazines or booklets that people often make by hand. They don’t follow traditional rules of art or publishing – anyone can create one.
Bring your best creations and show off your zine‑making skills at the Hobart Library stall. Whether you’ve made one zine or a whole series, this is your chance to meet other young makers, swap ideas, and inspire the next wave of creative storytellers.
Fun, friendly, and full of imagination - don’t miss this chance to shine!
